Weekly diary 1026

In Japanese proverb, we say; "Failure is a key to success." Yeah I think it's true.
So this week I dare to introduce my failures, because it continued to my next step surely.

Failure No.1.
I made 32 books of "A Ballet Girl" last year, but I mistook the size of it.
Then I needed to finish them all, but this week I went to the workshop and measured again then I found that it's a fatal mistake because the spine of the book never suite for the content's thickness. So now those are just garbage... omg!

Just i tried to cut them out, but I can't find the way to use it for...

Oh no... those 32 covers are all just... waste?
I still look for usage of them.
If you have any ideas, please tell me!!!

Failure No.2.
I did my homework of calligraphy class. I practice many times to write it, then I had some confidence so I wrote it in handmade paper that teacher told me to write on and send her. Then... I made all of my bad mistakes!
So now I understood why she told me; "this handmade paper is very good to do analysis of your writings".
Yes, it's true!

Failure no.3.
I went to bookbinding workshop. the teacher is really professional, I really trust him. I talked to him about my two books. One is which I made 10 years ago,.."Siddhartha", then I understood with his explanation that everything of that book was not nice. so I don't reprint it. Then 2nd is which I made last year, it's "Eye Contact". He said this book is very interesting and nice, so it's worth to reprint. I was happy, and decided to reprint this year.
Then, I came back to home with some paper to test some pin-up of "eye contact", then I found the problem... that, Siddhartha book's biggest problem was that I mistook the paper's direction. Then, now I made the same mistakes!
you see?
Right ones are rolling because I mistook the direction of the paper, and left ones are quite OK.
I need to understand the importance of the directions more...!

Then, it's a small failure but "Falure no.4".
Today we had a very nice Japanese cuisine party with my friend, but today i was crazy. Before I went there, I was absorbed in taking photos that I found it's beautiful... and after, I used all the battery of celphone... so I couldn't take photos of the party. Nooooo I was really crazy today!

haha.. what is this? lol

and Google automatically made of his animation gif! haha...!

Thanks to my failures, I really enjoyed this week.
